Within the past couple of years, jQuery has become a more popular and interactive way to display content on a website. Released in 2006, jQuery is a cross-browser JavaScript library that simplifies JavaScript programming. It is free to use, and it has a large open source community that is constantly working to keep it current with the latest browsers and improve it by developing new features.
