From Clay to Kitchen: Telling the Fiesta® Story

After recently launching the Homer Laughlin China Company’s new website, MarketSpace was asked by the manufacturer and distributor of the world-famous Fiesta® china to translate the organization’s long-standing legacy into a three-minute video. The organization wanted to be able to seamlessly communicate the company’s history, brand values and handcrafted processes to customers, retailers and employees, and our creative flair, coupled with our insider knowledge of the brand, made us the perfect fit for the job.

With a company who’s been around for more than 75 years, MarketSpace knew they needed to mirror the old with the new – literally using historic, grainy footage to showcase where the organization started and capturing vibrant and crisp HD footage to showcase the evolution of where they are now. We also wanted to tout the uniqueness of the brand through its handcraftsmanship and attention to detail. All in all, we wanted to showcase to potential buyers and sellers of the product why Fiesta® is the most popular china collection in the United States.

October 9, 2012 – Cranberry Twp., Pa. – MarketSpace Communications, a full‐service branding agency based in Cranberry Township, was recently recognized by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC)/Pittsburgh at their 33rd Annual Golden Triangle Awards. This year’s event was held at the DoubleTree by Hilton on the evening of September 27, and seeks to honor excellence in communications in southwestern Pennsylvania.

MarketSpace received an Award of Excellence for their development of a new website for Homer Laughlin China Company, manufacturer and distributor of the world-famous Fiesta® china. This comprehensive effort included a two-part approach of functionality and design, including enhanced site architecture and navigation, improved search capabilities and a new aesthetic look and feel. Since the new website’s implementation, the manufacturer has received an outpouring of positive feedback and visits to the site and page views have increased significantly.
