Pittsburgh Technical College (PTC), formerly Pittsburgh Technical Institute, is one of our city’s best kept secrets, tucked away on nearly 200 acres in North Fayette. But a secret is not at all what PTC wants to be. They enlisted the help of MarketSpace to help them develop a fully integrated marketing campaign that redefined their brand and current perceptions of the school. MarketSpace first sat down with key administration and staff members in small focus groups to determine current perceptions about the school. We then used those insights to develop a brand campaign targeted to potential students and their parents all throughout the Pittsburgh and surrounding markets. While the general campaign goal was awareness, it resulted in a significant increase in leads and applications.
